Dazed and Confused Analysis

Article

Dazed and Approved: Bruce Ingram

This article is about a artist who was the winner of Converse/Dazed 2011 Emerging Artist Award last year. Now he is opening a solo show in Vitrine Bermondset Street which is an contermpary art gallery. He will be putting his artwork on display such as scupltors and abstract work. This target a global audience becasue you can see that it unique and differernt from any other artist work. This target underground audience becaue it show a niche in the market it has never been done before. it unique and not normal it dosent fit in the mainsteam uses. This images show that it is an underground because how the artist done his work many consumers in the mainsteam or people who doesnt have any knowlegde of artwork wouldnt understand what he/she is looking at they wouldnt see that as art. However from an artist or underground consumer will see this painting as inspire this work they will have more knowlegde and understanding on what the artist is presenting.

Blood Diamond

Blood diamond is a film that is based on a true story about afican people who work  diamond and the process that they had to take to sell diamond.

Blood Diamond Movie Cover
I thought that this film is based on a Left Wing view in the movie they are lot of evidence to support this view.

Solomon find his childen and get back his son
This scene shows that it a left wing approch because Danny Archer had a choice to bring the diamond to Goverment. while solomon want to find his son, there was revival wherer or not they should go eventually they finally agrees to find his son. This is a left wing view as they discuss there social aspect and he find that his family was imprortant than his money and his survival to get out of the contury. Even thought there was some voilence there was still more talking and social view to show they think rather than use volience and aggressiveness. Also for the child as we feel sympathy for him when he got brainwashed by the REBLE

Solomon speaks to his son Dia
In this clip you see how they dont judge his son to be a crinimal but try and help his out of it.Whereas the right wing might think that he choose to be a crinimal so we have to leave him with his own path. The left wing belive in equality so Solomon helped his son to realize the improtants of his family making him retrive his gun.

Danny played by Leonardo Dicapro
The character also show left wing view on the film usually white male characters are generally hero in the beginning and they are leaders. However for Danny he stole diamond and sell them just so that he can have money challenge a right wing view on how you apprach and see the hero.
There was a sense of equality as he finally realise what is right and what need to be done to end the war and put thing together to make peace. It show how they work together to fight the REBEL and there army.
Solomon goes to the speaking post

This scene show how the goverment try and stop the blood diamond, as the speaker said 'let ignore no more' to show how they a contributing to stop it from corrupting. The Left wing believe in a better future for the socity so stoppong crime like workers in diamond business is right.

Overall this film is a Left wing approch by numerous scene from the clips. Most audince like this film by the ways it was watch a very good film which tell the true about diamonds and the process it took.
